One of our visitors for Phillips Exeter’s recent Martin Luther King Day was the Canadian, Emmy-winning documentary filmmaker Ric Esther Bienstock, who wrote and produced Frontline’s arresting 2005 episode on human trafficking, Sex Slaves. Ric screened the film and handled the subsequent Q&A brilliantly, helping our captivated students explore profound questions of human rights, international law enforcement, and journalistic ethics.
